I love living here and am only moving because I am relocating again. Response time is amazing even on weekends. They are kind and friendly. I love my home and the quality is wonderful. I will miss living here.

submitted by Margaret R. - |Recommended: YesGood, mostly — Usually won't hear the neighbors unless both yours and their windows are open and somebody is having a screaming match, I never hear my neighbors through the walls and only occasional ceiling stomps. Dog amenities are wonderful, the park is big and lots of people use it, washing stations are warm even in winter so your pup won't freeze if they need a bath. However, through no fault of birch hills, some people are just lazy and won't pick up after their pets. Which is super annoying because there are dog bags bins within two buildings of your apartment while living here. Only real downside to this property on the pet front is that there is no AC in the older buildings, so summer is brutal for our furry friends. My biggest complaint is that if you live in the older buildings, good luck getting the washer dryer to cooperate and be available. Typical time to fix a broken one washer not draining, dryer not producing heat is a week, and since it is a charge to use it machine you'll kiss that money goodbye. In the newer buildings, washer dryer is in unit and maintenance is really responsive so not nearly as much of a problem.

submitted by Chaz L. - |Recommended: YesGreat Place to Live — Great place to live if it meets your needs, especially for cats and dogs. I have to scrape my brain to find complaints here, and that's an amazing stress reliever. The only two complaints of late are new residents revving their engines during the day I work nights and sleep at day time and a few material choices have led to mandatory upkeep with the maintenance crew on occasions.
