submitted by Bryce W. - |Recommended: YesGood place to live — Overall a good place to live. The unit itself was clean and has no issues. I did not find the maintenance person particularly friendly or helpful. They charged me 50 for a lockout for a dead door, which should have been checked before I moved in. However, besides that I have no major issues with this place. The staff at the office were very friendly and helpful and made for a pleasant moving in experience. Noise is not bad. Not a party palace, which is great. Overall rating 4 5 stars.

submitted by Nicholas S. - |Recommended: YesGreat apartment for pet owners — I love the Dabco staff. They're always so nice and friendly. The grounds crew does a great job of cleaning up after us a thankless job most of the time . The unit my roommate and I moved into looked almost brand new and has a beautiful view of the magpie forest. I have no complaints about our apartment, but I do wish the tenants around and above us were less noisy. Because the units have hardwood floors, we can always hear the dogs playing upstairs and their nails clacking on the floor. We never hear noise during quiet hours, though. If my roommate and I had a pet, it would be the perfect place for either a cat or a small dog. I do enjoy living at Birch Hills, but I think in retrospect I would have opted for a top-floor unit rather than a bottom floor unit.

submitted by Anna H. - |Recommended: YesAffordable for Pets — Pro's Decent price some of the most affordable pet fee's deposits in the area, cute complex and amazing views, w d in unit, nice spacious balcony, good internet Con's Difficult parking, lack of amenities, VERY small rooms with VERY limited storage, no a c The pro's and con's make this complex nice for a short while if you are a college student, but not very livable long term for a Pullman resident. The size of a two bedroom does not feel like it is made for two working adults to live in one person would be comfortable or possibly two college students who don't really own anything. I'm new here so can't really speak on their maintenance and property staff but everyone seems quite friendly so far and I've never had bad experiences with Dabco in the past. Side note In my opinion, it is ridiculous these apartments don't have A C. I'm on the upper floor facing the sun and it's around 80 degrees in there most days. My boyfriend and I had to spend over 500 on two portable a c units since that is the only option Portable a c units are such a waste of money and guzzle electricity while barely cooling even one room in our tiny apartment. Pullman has VERY hot summers and I believe all apartments in Pullman NEED A C It seems like you have to be wealthy to afford a rental with a c in this town and it's just unacceptable.

A/C is something that we are looking into adding into some of the apartments in the future but generally Pullman's heat doesn't last long in the summer, and it cools down enough at night for apartments by opening windows/ slider doors. We were able to sign a lease in the same day and move in two days later Communication was great throughout the whole time as well.

Unit is clean, complex is quiet and my two 4 legged kids love the dog park I feel safe enough to have my 14 yr old daughter walk the dogs to the dogpark and around the complex alone, and love that we are against a hill...it adds to the privacy. All in all so far a great move
